Step into the heart of ancient drama with semi-staged performances of two powerful plays from Aeschylus’ epic trilogy.

First, experience Part One: The Suppliant Women (6pm)—a visceral, music-filled performance featuring a chorus of young women from The American College of Greece.

Written 2,500 years ago, yet urgently relevant today, this play follows fifty women fleeing forced marriage, seeking asylum across the Mediterranean. Their plea: “If we help, we invite trouble. If we don’t, we invite shame.”. A play about migration, protection, and collective responsibility, The Suppliant Women is part theatre, part ritual, and deeply rooted in questions that still haunt us.

Then, be there as the cycle comes full circle with a scratch performance of The Daughters of Danaos (8pm) —the long-awaited final part of the trilogy. As the daughters of Danaus face the consequences of their choices, this bold retelling by David Greig explores justice, legacy, and the cost of defiance.
