Join us for an evening of fun and experimental fable storytelling, featuring a group of fabulists and their nonhuman characters.
We are delighted that renowned Indian fabulist Suniti Namjoshi will be among our storytellers, alongside a fable-in-music collaboration by Scottish poet Lesley Harrison and Zoomusicologists Alex South and Emily Doolittle. In fables, animals and other nonhumans speak; we will be using these stories to explore our relationship with the nonhuman world and address global issues affecting our shared world.
This free public event is part of the ‘Rethinking Fables in the Age of the Environmental Crisis’ conference (May 22-24, 2025, University of Kent).
