Dulce Compania

Dulce Compania are back with another walk around Act for bOing 2024! Following the popular Rainbow Ballet Stilt Walk and the Royal Poodle Parade!

The Headless Men

A surprising, funny, and unbelievably absurd walk act! Headless men  in elegant trench coats mingle with festival-goers. Sometimes they startled people, you hear surprised shrieks, and hearty laughter. These two characters provide great fun for the young and old. Their actions are so absurd that they make the audience laugh and marvel. Many people will pull out their cameras when they see the smartly dressed men reading the newspaper, drinking a glass of juice, looking at a shop window, studying the city map, riding a bike, going shopping, etc. All without a head! See if you can spot them around bOing! 2024

The Headless Ladies

Absurdly comical, and comically absurd, here come the Headless Ladies! They will be popping up at bOing! to turn heads (except their own) and steal the show to deliver smiles and laughter. What would a bougie lady be without her pocket dog? In the middle of the endless leopard print, a little chihuahua head peaks from a “designer” purse. They carry oversized leopard print umbrellas, in case of rain. Or just for good laughs. Whether you catch them at teatime, strolling through a park or window shopping on a high street, the only thing you won’t see these ladies doing, is gossip.

ART31

ART31 takes its name from Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, which states that ‘Children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’.

ART31 is a vision created with, by, and for young people in Kent, championing the belief that all children and young people have an entitlement to access high quality arts and culture, to empower them to achieve their creative potential, and to genuinely engage young people as equal partners in any decision making that affects them.

The ART31 Youth Board is made up of young people from across Kent aged 13-25 who steer its governance, and influence policy and practice across the county and beyond, challenging the creative sector to examine existing ways of working and integrate young people into the core of their practice.
