SHIFT, curated by artist and curator Richard Layzell, aims to reshape and reframe the way we think about a University.
With presenters including Sir Paul Nurse of The Francis Crick Institute, the festival showcases the importance of creativity in education, and looks at blending academia and the arts, and illuminates the creative qualities embedded within some of the more ‘traditional’ academic subjects such as Law, Natural Sciences and Medicine.
SHIFT will also introduce us to the concept of Flectures – a new creative and interactive update on the lecture format – and includes a range of pop up events and activities across the campus.
Curated by Gulbenkian Associate Artist Richard Layzell, produced by ICCI.
