Issues with Apple Pay payments

A few of our customers have experienced difficulties with Apple Pay payments not going through when buying tickets. If you experience issues please try an alternative payment method or contact boxoffice@kent.ac.uk

Parking

Free parking is available to Gulbenkian customers after 5pm on weekdays and all day at weekends in any University car park.

For Gulbenkian customers attending events between Monday and Friday 8am to 5pm please park in the Visitor Pay and Display car parks on Campus.  £2 for 3 hours and £6 all day (8am-5pm).  The nearest Visitor Pay and Display is the Central Car Park (formerly known as Gulbenkian Car Park).

Please note when parking in the Giles Lane Car Park after 5pm weekdays & at weekends this is free. The car park barrier will lift automatically when a car approaches to allow access on entry and exit.

There are accessible bays located in the Central Visitor Car Park.

When attending events we strongly recommend customers to allow extra time to find your space and park in designated parking spaces only. Please be advised that yellow lines on campus are enforced and we advise customers to park in designated car parking spaces. Or use public transport if possible.

Coach and minibus parking

Safe, convenient drop off points are available close to the Gulbenkian.

Please let us know in advance how many vehicles/coaches and what size they are so that we can make the necessary arrangements on 01227 769075 or boxoffice@kent.ac.uk. Please let us know if you have any special needs or access requirements.

Many of our shows have discounts for schools and for every 10 tickets purchased we offer a free teacher/adult ticket.

ART31

ART31 takes its name from Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, which states that ‘Children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’.

ART31 is a vision created with, by, and for young people in Kent, championing the belief that all children and young people have an entitlement to access high quality arts and culture, to empower them to achieve their creative potential, and to genuinely engage young people as equal partners in any decision making that affects them.

The ART31 Youth Board is made up of young people from across Kent aged 13-25 who steer its governance, and influence policy and practice across the county and beyond, challenging the creative sector to examine existing ways of working and integrate young people into the core of their practice.

National Theatre Connections – Gulbenkian Young Company

NT Connections is the National Theatre’s nationwide youth theatre festival. Each year it offers a unique opportunity for youth theatres and school theatre groups to stage new plays written for young people by some of theatre’s most exciting playwrights, and to perform in leading theatres across the UK.
