Issues with Apple Pay payments

A few of our customers have experienced difficulties with Apple Pay payments not going through when buying tickets. If you experience issues please try an alternative payment method or contact boxoffice@kent.ac.uk

If you are a University of Kent staff member or a student you can use the Colyer-Fergusson Music Practice Rooms for just £20 per year. Here is how:

First, purchase a Practice Room Permit

  • You will need to purchase a permit to use the practice rooms in Colyer-Fergusson; this costs £10 for half a year (valid from from Apr to Sep).
  • Go to our membership page and click the drop to find the permit: Click here to purchase your permit.
  • Once you have purchased your permit, you will still need to have your KentOne card activated to be able access a practice room – you will need to contact the Music Administrator, Sophie Meikle (music@kent.ac.uk).

Then, book your Practice Rooms

  • You can only book up 5 hours in any week and only during the present week. (Booking week runs Monday to Monday)
  • You can use the links below to book rooms, but be aware that you need to be logged in (top of the page) and hold a current Practice Room Permit to be able to see the available time slots.
  • Timeslots for the each week will be available to book the Wednesday before each week commences.

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason

  • Please email boxoffice@kent.ac.uk to cancel a booking (room date and time included please) and we can release the room for others to use. Thank you.

ART31

ART31 takes its name from Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, which states that ‘Children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’.

ART31 is a vision created with, by, and for young people in Kent, championing the belief that all children and young people have an entitlement to access high quality arts and culture, to empower them to achieve their creative potential, and to genuinely engage young people as equal partners in any decision making that affects them.

The ART31 Youth Board is made up of young people from across Kent aged 13-25 who steer its governance, and influence policy and practice across the county and beyond, challenging the creative sector to examine existing ways of working and integrate young people into the core of their practice.
