Would you like to experience and create real Spatial Audio?
Workshops from the 28th -30th July, 11-4pm
The technology that gives all Games and Hollywood movies their ‘immersive’ sound quality – that feeling that you are right inside the action – is known as Spatial Audio.
During three half-day hands-on spatial audio workshops, you’ll be working with an experienced scriptwriter and a sound artist capturing and creating sounds in and around Chatham Historic Dockyard. You will start to build 3D soundscapes that will meld with a composer’s music to become part of an exciting new performance piece launching at The Docking Station early next year.
No previous experience with audio recording is needed, but an interest in the creative potential of sound is essential.
