    • Comedian Dom Joly is hitting the road this autumn to mark 25 years of his ground-breaking Trigger Happy TV.

    It’s been twenty-five years since Trigger Happy TV burst onto our screens, transforming the hidden camera format with its surreal universe of characters and unforgettable pranks. To celebrate a quarter-century of chaos, Dom Joly is bringing his most iconic characters and sketches to the stage in the Trigger Happy TV – Live! 25th-anniversary tour.

    Fans will experience beloved moments from the show, including The Giant Snail, The Traffic Warden, The Morris Dancer, The Scout, A Gang of Squirrels, and THAT Big Mobile Phone. Dom will share behind-the-scenes stories and insights on how these unforgettable moments came to life. But the surprises don’t stop there – this is live theatre, and fans can expect the unexpected.

    Complimenting this tour is Dom Joly’s latest book. The limited-edition book – Trigger Happy TV Storybook – includes a signed book plate, bespoke tote bag and set of four badges.

    The tour and book explore the cultural, technological, and social forces that made the show possible, tracing its origins, impact, and enduring legacy. It reveals how a simple hidden-camera concept became a defining portrait of Britain on the cusp of a new era.

    ART31 takes its name from Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, which states that ‘Children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’.

    ART31 is a vision created with, by, and for young people in Kent, championing the belief that all children and young people have an entitlement to access high quality arts and culture, to empower them to achieve their creative potential, and to genuinely engage young people as equal partners in any decision making that affects them.

    The ART31 Youth Board is made up of young people from across Kent aged 13-25 who steer its governance, and influence policy and practice across the county and beyond, challenging the creative sector to examine existing ways of working and integrate young people into the core of their practice.

    Set over two days TECH31 is a free workshop designed to provide 13-25 year olds with an opportunity to develop their skills in sound, lighting, stage management and much more.

    National Theatre Connections – Gulbenkian Young Company

    NT Connections is the National Theatre’s nationwide youth theatre festival. Each year it offers a unique opportunity for youth theatres and school theatre groups to stage new plays written for young people by some of theatre’s most exciting playwrights, and to perform in leading theatres across the UK.
