Work in Progress is a new performance from Square Pegs Arts Theatre Company challenging misconceptions of employment for disabled workers.
Developed with Square Pegs Theatre Company members, the show uses verbatim methods to turn a creative lens on the experiences of disabled people seeking employment, from the challenges and rejections of interviews to the perceptions of disabled people’s “suitability” for work.
After the performance there will be a Q&A session as part of development for this new show, to hear your ideas and responses to the piece.
Access for this event
This will be a relaxed event so you are free to experience it as you need. It will be supported by a small team of hosts who can help with access needs, and you can borrow our access gadgets including fidget toys and ear defenders to feel more comfortable.
Gulbenkian theatre has level access and there are toilets and accessible toilets nearby.
