ART31 Generate
In previous years Art31 Generate (also known as the ART31 Youth Board) have had great success with programming and co-commissioning. From curating GENFest to developing the Art31 Manifesto, they have challenged policymakers and enabled change, so that more people across the county, from a range of diverse backgrounds, can experience high quality arts and culture.
In 2025, Art31 Generate is going to take a different form as we shape and shift what the group looks like. We are going to spend the year working with young people from across Kent aged 13-25, offering sessions, masterclasses and discussions to determine and shape what Art31 Generate will look like in future years, making sure young peoples voices, needs and wants are central to the formation of the group.
This year we have also decided that we will put a hold on GENFest, whilst we shape Art31 Generate and our young people’s programme.
We will still be meeting and working with local young people and have creative offers throughout the year for the.
So if you would like to be involved in shaping Generate and the creative offer for young people in Kent, then please send us an email to creativeengagement@kent.ac.uk
Keep up to date by signing up to our ART31 Mailing list: to do this log into your Gulbenkian Website Profile, go to ‘Interests’ and tick ‘yes’ for receiving emails for ‘Creative opportunities for young people from ART31 Kent’.
