Support the work we do by, with and for children and young people.

The empowerment of children and young people is at the core of Gulbenkian’s Vision.

We offer a high quality programme of work by, with and for children and young people, across the year, including a range of youth theatre, dance and creative learning programmes.

Every penny you donate will go to help support all our work with children and young people, including our NT Connections project, our Youth Theatre, Youth Dance Company and our Creative Learning outreach projects.

‘ART31 helped us make the piece- they helped finance the piece, they helped us with building relationships around the piece for touring. Harlan Rust, one of the dancers spent that last few days working with two local schools and colleges, so he’s making curtain raisers for them. So he’s made two, five minute pieces for each group and they’re going to perform those pieces, and then they’re going to watch the piece and hopefully relate what they’ve learnt over the past few days to what they see in the space.’  James Wilton, James Wilton Dance

I think it’s just that idea that young people are worth it- they’re worth spending money on, they’re worth having the best

I have become much more engaged in the arts and my local area. I think I’ve become a little more confident.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
