Feed your bellies and stock up those fridges with excellent local produce!

At Gulbenkian, we are conscious of food miles and are working hard to reduce our carbon foot print.  By 2020, we have ambitions to be a zero waste organisation (find out more in our about us section).

As part of Welcome week, we are opening our doors to our lovely local suppliers so you get to know them first hand too!

So come and taste some excellent local food, see cooking demos by Gulbenkian and Kent-based chefs, relax with some live sounds from our DJ and stock up those University fridges with fresh local produced in Kent.

Bring along your reusable coffee cups – you can save money by using them at Gulbenkian – and water bottles – we will refill it for you!

Plus don’t forget those tote bags for carting home all the goodies you will be buying.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
