The multi-award-winning Nitin Sawhney comes to Canterbury as part of our Global Sounds series.

Recent recipient of the Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement Award, acclaimed artist and polymath, Nitin Sawhney presents an evening of music and memories, ‘Music and Me’, featuring Aref Durvesh on tabla and vocalist Eva Stone.

From coincidences that are barely explicable by conventional western thought or logic, to an array of events which include working with some of the world’s most famous artists, meeting with inspiring international icons and a host of personal memories/anecdotes from a career that spans 30 year in the music industry, ‘Music and Me’ is delivered through Sawhney’s unique prism, performance and perspective of music as a universal language.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
