For music fans everywhere, the Carpenters music was the soundtrack to the ‘70s. Hauntingly beautiful songs like Close to You and We’ve Only Just Begun made Richard and Karen Carpenter international superstars.

To the outside world, Karen Carpenter had it all: slim, pretty and loved by millions. But beneath her wholesome public image lay a devastating secret that would ultimately lead to her premature death.

Featuring many classic and much-loved Carpenters songs, Yesterday Once More tells the story of Karen’s extraordinary musical achievements and her long and unsuccessful battle with anorexia.

This memorable and moving show is performed by accomplished musicians Rebecca Robinson and Mark Heller, and their intimate piano and vocal arrangements showcase the songs in all their poignant beauty.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
