Presented by Peut-Être Theatre

When it starts out ship-shape, there’s only one way for it to go… this dance-theatre show gets all messed up!

As we wriggle our way through the muddle of life we often discover things anew. So why can’t tidiness be exciting for children or chaos joyful for adults?

Who said there’s a ‘right way’ anyway?

Inspired by children’s logic when creating order, patterns and systems, this show is a witty, uplifting journey discovering whether chaos and order can ever live side-by-side. With plenty of surprises, Tidy Up is an unforgettable party!

Children must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under/over the recommended age may be admitted but will still require a child’s ticket. Baby on lap tickets (£1) are available on selected shows for 0-18months.  Age ranges are provided as a guide and we ask you to consider whether a show is suitable for your child. For further information please contact our Ticket & Information Team on 01227 769075 who will be happy to help.

“The fun was infectious. My five-year-old perched on the edge of his seat and giggled for the show’s entirety.”

Oxford Dance Writers

“I have never heard so many children laugh so enthusiastically before and I have to admit I spent most of the show smiling too”

Little Angle Biters

“Tidy Up celebrates the comedy of chaos and the patterns that can be found within it.”

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
