In association with University of Kent’s School of Arts
The 2019 Autism Arts Festival will kick off with a double bill of comedy from Robert White (Finalist in Britain’s Got Talent 2018) and Kate Fox (Star of BBC Radio 4’s The Price of Happiness).
Kate Fox: Bigger on the Inside
Stand Up Poet Kate Fox thought that getting an autism diagnosis would be as likely as there being a female Dr in Dr Who.
So her universe has changed quite a bit recently.
This is a stand-up storytelling show about how.
May contain rhymes and Tardises.
Robert White is the only gay, Aspergic, quarter-Welsh comic on the British comedy circuit. Known for his brilliant timing and performance style, Robert’s chaotic stage presence, improvisational skills and delivery won him the 2010 Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality. In 2018, Robert came runner up on the UK’s biggest television talent competition, Britain’s Got Talent, on ITV. His performances throughout were typically chaotic, but hilarious.
This is a double bill live performance in the Gulbenkian cinema auditorium.
