Calling all adventure lovers! The award winning Kendal Mountain Festival is back on the road with its UK Tour.

Join us for the Kendal Mountain Festival Film Tour – a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating exploration of some of the wildest places on earth.

Watch 90 minutes of the world’s BEST adventure films on the big screen – visual stories of talent, endurance and excitement to take your breath away! Ride icy waves in sub zero winter, chase tornados, run in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and mountain bike into the wildest reaches of your imagination.

Plus hear from James Glancy, who’ll be joining us on stage to share his passion for wildlife conservation and adventure. James has spent his life outdoors in wild and hostile places and recently featured on BBC 2’s Curious Creatures and as a host on Discovery Channel’s show ‘SharkWrecked,’ during Shark Week 2018.

The evening will be presented by Festival Director Steve Scott and we will have giveaways from our tour sponsors.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
