2019 marks the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci. Alongside his artistic and scientific accomplishments, Leonardo was a talented musician, who famously described music as ‘shaping the invisible’.

The British solo-voice ensemble I Fagiolini’s new programme will feature projections of his best-loved masterworks interwoven with choral pieces that connect with the images. Leonardo expert Professor Martin Kemp and I Fagiolini’s director Robert Hollingworth will introduce the evening and put the two art forms in context.

2019 is also the 50th anniversary the Moon landing and Concorde’s first flight. ‘Shaping the Invisible’ culminates in a new commission on a theme of Leonardo and scientific endeavour with poetry by Gillian Clark  and music by Adrian Williams.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
