The Pied Piper Theatre Company.

A delightful adaptation of Aesop’s fable about opposites, time and friendship for children aged 3+ and their families.

Ready? Steady? Go!

But who’s the fastest; who’s the best? Who will finally win the race? Younger, fitter, faster Hare – tearing around, unable to wait – or slow and steady Tortoise – taking the time to look at the stars?

Find out in this funny, tender, award-winning adaptation of the well-loved story as we journey through the seasons from bud-bursting spring to snow-falling winter in a tale of opposites, time and friendship, brimming with music, movement & colour.

Children must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under the recommended age may be admitted but will still require a child’s ticket. Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
