For his last concert with the Stour Festival Orchestra, the retiring Festival Director has chosen an unashamedly self-indulgent programme of works, all of which had a profound effect in shaping his musical life.

This cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be regarded as an early music programme, but as Stour has sometimes ventured into the 20th (and even the 21st)  century on occasions, for his last concert with the Stour Festival Orchestra, the retiring Festival Director has chosen an unashamedly self-indulgent programme
of works, all of which had a profound effect in shaping his musical life.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
