Electrifying new dance-circus from Motionhouse

Inspired by the role of electricity in the human body, Charge is the exhilarating new dance-circus production from acclaimed dance company Motionhouse. From the electrical charge that sparks human life, to the beating of our hearts and the memories we make, six performers use dance and acrobatics to create a magical, multi-media world, tracing the incredible story of energy in our lives.

An exciting fusion of art and science, Charge was inspired by work with the University of Oxford. It is the third element in Kevin Finnan’s Earth Trilogy, developing on themes explored in Scattered (2009) and Broken (2013).

Don’t miss this long-awaited production from international touring company Motionhouse.

Our work with young people

Children and Young People are at the heart of what we do, as audience members, as participants and as thought leaders.

Through our landmark ART31 project we are working with young people and partners in Kent to create new opportunities through the arts for under 25's across the county.

Below are some of our current projects focused on the development of young people.
