Join us for cracking family films and shows during the Easter holidays!

We kick-start the Easter holidays with a family film screening of the smart and funny Trolls on Easter weekend! Guaranteed to have you dancing in the aisles and singing for joy on Saturday 31 March at 3pm. In a new adaptation of David Safier’s best-selling novel Monster Family, the Wishbone clan are cursed by an evil witch and transformed into their own monstrous party costumes. Can they pull together to reverse the curse? Find out in this film on Sunday 8 April at 1.30pm.

Join Ratty, Badger, Mole and the impulsive Toad as they embark on a series of riotous adventures spiralling  from Toad’s insatiable need for speed this Easter in Wind in the Willows: The Musical! Captured live from the London Palladium, this screening of a family favourite will be at Gulbenkian on Sunday 8 April at 4.30pm & Saturday 14 April at 1.30pm.

Whizzpoppers! In collaboration with The Beaney, Canterbury, Gulbenkian are screening The BFG  on Wednesday 11 April at 3pm. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring the excellent Mark Rylance as the Big Friendly Giant, revisit this Roald Dahl classic in a new film adaptation, then grab your frobscottles and see the fun family friendly exhibition of the magical illustrations that brought the BFG to life in ‘The BFG in Pictures’ at The Beaney!

For ages 3+, Filskit Theatre bring their new humorous show about two opposites who get their wires crossed as they strive to work and play together in Bright Sparks on Sunday 8 April at 2pm.

Performed entirely on and under a kitchen table, Lyngo Theatre’s Tom Thumb is a wee wonder of a show is full of magic with feathery spinning birds, a flying house and a portable forest. Cbeebies Patrick Lynch brings this classic story to life on Sunday 15 April at 2pm.

Plus sing your heart out to the bold and original musical that celebrates the birth of show business in The Greatest Showman Sing-along on Saturday 14 April.
