bOing! Festival Steward

20/7/19

bOing! International Family Festival hosts a unique programme of the best creative experiences for children to share with their families. Created by Gulbenkian, bOing! takes place on the beautiful University of Kent campus in Canterbury and showcases work by leading UK and international companies, artists and performers. It is free to enter and is bursting with a mixture of free and ticketed performances. Our ambition is to widen audiences and grow the festival with work going out to other areas of Kent as well as in and around Gulbenkian.

Here’s a great opportunity to work with Architects of Air, stewarding for bOing!

A luminarium is a space that visitors are invited to enter for a sensory experience of light and colour. It is a space for relaxation and contemplation.

The creative vision underlying the Architects of Air luminaria comes from a desire to create monumental works whose purpose is to generate a sense of wonder through the particular phenomenon of luminous colour. The inspirations are pure forms of geometry & nature & spiritual architecture from around the world.

The stewards staffing a luminarium have a varied role. Opening doors, taking tickets, helping with the cleaning, but more importantly there is the relationship with the public, discussing their experience & answering their questions.

Rates of Pay: National Minimum Wage.

Dates: Friday 23rd (4pm – 8pm), Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August 2019 (9am – 5pm)
